How would I mount a 360 radiator on top of a haf x

i want to mount a 360 mm rasa radiator on top of a hafx 942 without taking out the top two fans that come with it...

i kno they dont give one of the fans on the top so imma buy one and put it on

is this possible, i was thinking of making a brace out of metal strips and mesh and putting it on the top of the case and having the radiator there.

i want to order many parts today to start making a rig
---gpu is a saphire 6970
---cpu is a i7 920 at microcenter for 200 dollars
---case is the hafx 942
---1.5 tb harddrive
---xspc rasa 360 mm radiator wc cooling kit
---maybe a r3e or a r3f dunno?...anny suggestions?
---30 buck fan controller
---cathodes
---8 gb 1600mhz ram for 80
---ultra x3 1000watt psu

i am trying to make a nice computer once and having enough flexibility to upgrade whenever...later on i should be able to switch to water cooling the gpu or adding another gpu

any advice please do tell...the main point of this post is to find out how to mount the radiator on top of the haf x 942...thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure this isn't a case mod, but regardless...

Looking at my HAF X, there are two supports for a 240 rad, and I'm pretty sure you can fit a 360 up there if you don't put anything in the top drive bay (Someone on this forum has a 360 up top on their HAF X, can't remember who though). Go look through the XSPC Rasa club: http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...-rs-rx120.html

I would think about those fans up top and the rad though. You could have some interesting airflow issues if you're trying to push/pull more air through them than they are rated for by mounting the rad there. You might be better off removing the top fans or mounting the rad off the back.

EDIT!!!

DullBoi has a 240 rad mounted at the top of his HAF X.

The XSPC RX 360 will fit inside the computer case with the top 200 mm fans still in place. Keep in mind that the fans that you may need on the other side of the rad may be an issue as there is not enough space. I just got mine to fit.
