You should try a single GTX 570 first and OC that, I'm sure it will max any game out at the resolution your running. Why not invest in a SSD? that would net you quite the performance gain in terms of overall system speed. Not to mention game load times and application launch times.

No objections. I have a 750W PSU as well, but just make sure your's in particular is up to snuff as the 570's (although are more efficient) still draw a decent amount of power.

For what it's worth, one GTX 570 gave around mid 30's fps in Metro 2033, but two GTX 570's give high 50's. Overall, it is true that a single GTX 570 doesn't have many problems running most games on a single 1080p display, but having two allows you to max out all the graphics options in just about any game out there, save for Crysis and Metro 2033 - granted they still are very playable and gorgeous to gawk at.

Just get another 460 and wait on the next generation. Unless you run 30" monitor or multi-monitors, you will not need 2 570s.

You would be good for a few years, but at the very least until the next set of cards come out(Not refreshes).

If you want to spend money just to spend it though, get the 2x570's. They will not be used to their full potential on a 1080p TV, though. Not even close.

Agree with Horsemama, just get another 460 for SLI and you're all set until next year. Save some money and wait for Kepler
