Your telling me the formula is better? I wanted to get the extreme as it overclocks better and I could say I got the higher end board.

If you didn't already get rid of the board then this might apply
K, I heard this from a friend who heard it from a friend who had a friend (I think that's how it goes) that stuck the pins back INTO the CPU and smacked (figuratively) that thing back onto the motherboard and it actually worked.
No verifications nor citations whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure that won't happen in the history of mankind ever again, but worth a try, if you don't remove the CPU. If you do, just make sure that the pins are able to come OUT of the CPU and therefore rendering the CPU more usage in its life.
Don't sue me if it doesn't work...

That sorta thing only works with AMD setups. You can't put anything in/out of an Intel CPU...
