Need help with bios functions asus m4n98td evo

Hello,

I am having trouble adjusting to the asus bios (I think it's ami); its full of overclocking features. BUT, there is one major problem:NCC

I have a 555BE that does have one faulty core. I am cognizant of the fact that the cores are unlocked for a reason, but I know for a fact, that this chip has only one faulty core. I went for 12 hours on a tri with p95.

Unfortunately, something is missing. I am checking unleashing mode and core calibration, but I don't seem to have the option to lock/unlock a core individually? Is this possible with this board? Like, on my old one, I could use a core "leveller" ie Core 0, 1, 2, 3 (in my case 2 is corrupt).

I was reading that asus announced this function for all boards? If not, I don't like to get people into a "core unlocking debate" but what setting should I be bumping if I have to run all 4 cores? I'm a little disappointed with this motherboard, as many people seem to like it (I bought it because its 16x sli in both slots )

In any event, I hope someone can point me in the way of a bios that might support core levelling, or a modded bios, or some way to get that core2 shut off.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Regards.

Well for starters nvidia chipsets aren't as stable or efficient at unlocking as the amd ones. I know this for a fact, I spent countless hours twinking with my M4N78 Pro, to unlock my B50 with no avail. Yet as soon as I pop it in and AMD chipset motherboard it unlocks all four and runs perfectly stable.

But, try bumping your voltage first of all if your running 4 cores.
