Keep tri-fire 4850 or SLI gtx 460 - Page 2

I don't wanna pay like $200 each card for the 560....overclocked 460s are close to 480s in performance and better than 470s. Yet only $300 for the pair I'm getting

Plan on overclocking them to 900mhz with voltage and dominating other gpu solutions lol
Keep in mind that not every GTX 460 can OC to 900Mhz stable, especially in SLI. And one more thing, GTX 460 at 900Mhz may be on par or exceed 470's stock performance but never come close to 480's stock performance (it took a GTX 470 at 800Mhz or more to do that), and any fermi scales extremely well in SLI, not just 460s.

Edit: anyway, 460s in SLI certainly blow your tri-fire 4850s away by a good margin.

Not sure....i did benchmarks but I forgot they do about 21,000 in 3dmark06 but I checked the performs and they are about equal to a 5870.

In general the majority of gtx 460s can do 900mhz with voltage. I have excellent case cooling also with my haf and 4x120mm fans on the side panel.

The seller told me the cards can do about 850mhz without voltage and him really even pushing them that hard

Any ways it should be a worthy upgrade and last me a while
