Not sure if it might help, but the idle temp 40% fan speed is 40° right now.
Did you choose "Quick Format" before reinstalling your OS? Yes I do believe you do indeed have a faulty card, either your card is throttling your clocks down for some strange unknown reason or you do have a faulty card. Have you contacted the manufacture yet about your problems? It's a long shot but try another PCI-E power cable if you have one, did you install chipset drivers?

Not sure, but after reformat it's even worse.

Game was loading super slow and fps were between 8-15 fps, now the game freezes at half-almost done loading screen).

I allready tried all pci-e cable convinations.

I contacted EVGA 1 day ago and it says they answer on 2 days.

I did try your fix techenth but it didn't help me, thx though.

Well since everything was just fine before with your HD 5850 was removed I'm pointing my finger at the new GTX 570, it's also possible that something happened during your fresh reinstall as this has happened to me at least once in 5 years. Don't forget to install your chipset drivers as these have all of the configuration settings for the PCI-E lanes!

I just installed Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, everything on max settings and wow...game runs excellent. gpu-z while gaming.

Tried spiderman shattered dimensions and it runs ok.

My problem is, why a game like League of Legends fails to play since I got the new videocard?

Im gona install another game, and if it runs smooth then it's the game incompatiility with the videocard.

60fps while playing cod4 and 130 fps while looking to the sky....used to have 120 while playing and 700 while looking at the sky.

But guys, problem is Im at Mexico, so I can't go back to the store and ask for a replacement, maybe my last resort would be EVGA support site.

Try downloading and installing the latest DirectX directly from Microsoft.
