Low FPS on 570 gtx - Page 8

Was my post confusing?

I get between 22-36 fps on my laptop, med/high settings no shadows.

I'll use Intel reasoning to avoid any conflicts...

If you're going to stay on a single card solution, a 970 would be fine.

Though I don't believe what you're experiencing is a complete cpu bottleneck, if that was the case your gpu would be running at full speed, but getting low usage.

Well my clocks are now always 3d(720 core clock, 1464 shader clock, 1900 memory clock)

But after hours of research, I found that while im gaming the gpu usage never goes above 35%(Giving me 90 fps on League of Legends) but when team fights happen the fps go down to 30 and GPU usage goes to 10% or so.

So my theory is that if I could be able to get my GPU to at least 60% stable, I could get around 140 fos and still have low temps(my videocard idles at 30°).

So yeah, looks like I gotta mess up with nvidia control panel AND this might be a bottleneck...hope Phenom II x4 970/ Core i5 2500k can solve this problem.

And Happy New Year everyone!

I'm sure either of them will meet your needs at 4Ghz on the AMD chip and stock for the 2500k.

Have you tried to overclock your cpu any higher?
