I like the parts you picked out! Thanks for that. Let me a couple of comments.

Can I justify spending that much money on that Processor + Motherboard? Am I getting a really good deal here and should go for that more expensive Processor?

As far as the rest of the part I like them, except I want to steer away from MIB as much as possible.

I think I am sold on that case, looks sweet.

Don't know a lot about that Power Supply but seen a few people have em.

I suggest the 965 x4 and the 870A because I love MSi boards.
Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220435 Good quality
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153113
Hard drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148445

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129042
Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814162058
Its like 7 dollars over budget, no big deal.

Edit! Also consider this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231193

I do not recommend pairing the 965 x4 with any MSI board with 4+1 power phase (heatsinked or not) and especially not with the TA 890GXB HD as it has an unheatsinked 3+1 mosfets. You are literally asking for flame death by pairing a 125W CPU with such a motherboard.

STOP. DO NOT GET THAT RAM.
Requiring 1.65V for generic 1333 9-9-9 settings at a high price, that is pretty much the worst and lowest quality RAM you can get. Anything requiring above 1.5V for generic settings is unacceptable, and you shouldn't be going generic with a custom built and a fair budget anyway. Even then it is a ripoff at $38 (after rebate); 2x2Gb of generics should not be had for over around $35. In addition, many AMD users have had trouble getting this RAM to work.

There is better memory for much cheaper. My personal recommendation is the same as dixson's: Corsair XMS3 1600 9-9-9, $50 - $40 AR

Which 965 x4 + motherboard combination would you recommend?

Sorry about that, go with the biostar mobo and 965 then?

Well he is playing WoW its not like that will stress out his PSU, and the RAM is just fine. You can't expect a super high quality build with $500.

As far as the graphics card is concerned, it's right I don't need a 460 but maybe a GTS 250 might be too low in a little while, maybe meet in the middle? What would be in the middle of those 2 cards?

Sadly an x4 + good motherboard isn't usually cheap, but for a similar price I can recommend:
Phenom II x4 955 - $135.50, combo deal loophole
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO - $99, $84 AR
$234.50, $219.50 AR

That RAM is extremely far from fine. All DDR3 memory kits/IC's should be able to support 1333 9-9-9-24 1.5V as an absolute standard, and 1.5V as a maximum, no higher. I don't even understand why companies sell these kits requiring 1.65V... perhaps trying to get rid of half-faulty ICs I guess. With $500 you can get a very, very good build for the price very easily.
