COD: Black Ops Network Issues Need Help

Thread Starter
I have been playing wireless on my Xbox since MW2 and no connection issues or dropping games.

After a week into Black Ops my connection drops every other game for no reason, i have never had these issues before. I thought a neighbor might of got a new router or something so I tried changing wireless channels and it still does the same thing. I cannot figure it out. I have always had a open nat type ( I opened ports via portforward).

It has to be something that has changed because it never used to do this.

My brother has a ps3 and always dropped games since MW2, but I never did. Now I cannot play a full game.

If you need more information, just reply, i need to fix this, thanks guys!

BTW I'll update my PC specs, i just built my new one!

Is it possible to just run an ethernet cable to the xbox?

Wireless connections for consoles is crap. This is just one example.

Maybe try putting the xbox on DMZ to see if that fixes things.

Who is your ISP? When I went to uVerse, I had these same issues. Manually setting a third party DNS solved my problem.
