I had this with COD4. Only issue that resolved it was buying a 20 metre Ethernet cable. Basically all that happened with me I wouldn't get disconnected from the game it would just be connection interrupted. Then for 3 seconds would stop, then carry on.

I would try using an ethernet cable first. Get the whole wireless thing out of the equation. If that still doesn't fix it, try ethernet straight to the modem. That will remove the router from the equation. If that still doesn't fix it, try using a third party DNS(will post instructions if necessary).
