Had my first display related BSOD today with 10.12s.

Exactly 15 minutes after I went out and not touched the keyboard or mouse, just in time for the monitor to turn itself off after 15 mins, caused a BSOD.

Suppose that's my fault then.

For the most part these are "ok". Apart from black texture flickering in BFBC2, monitor turn off bug, cursor corruption bug, Arma 2 issues galore (more a 6xxx series problem) ... they are doing great. lol

Going back to 10.10e tomorrow, if I can be bothered. Just learning to accept this is the deal I took on when buying these cards.

........... maybe its you and your OC? Or maybe xfire problems (I don't have xfire obviously)

My card was at stock clocks when my 2nd GPU wasn't working. Also, my OC is stable. Oh, you just reminded me, I think I may have forgotten to mention that under GPU-Z when I was checking the info about my second GPU, it reported that my second GPU crossfire was disabled. But under my first GPU, it reported crossfire was enabled. And yes, Catalyst AI was enabled. Now that I've rolled back, both GPUs in GPU-Z report crossfire as enabled.

So it seems like it was a crossfire issue with 10.12 or something ....I don't know. 10.12 still scared cause I thought I'd have to RMA. Sigh.....

Also, just addressing this to a few of you guys since those people just love to rage, just because you can safely upgrade your drivers does not necessarily mean that I can, too. Everyone's system is different. In my experience, some times when I upgrade, I would be stuck in an infinite BSOD loop; therefore, I have to use Driver Sweeper. Sometimes, the driver installer says it encountered an error towards the end of the installation. Sometimes even that gets stuck in an infinite error loop. So my drivers just won't install. Don't get me wrong, AMD is good to a certain extent as is nVidia. Both have their issues and solutions. I just don't like playing Russian Roulette with my drivers.

I have a feeling someone is gonna rage at me and tell me something I probably already know

Lol I'm still on 10.4 AMD really needs to get it together, what's the point of having high end hardware but sucky software. It's like pumping kerosene oil in a Bugatti. I'm thinking more and more of going green. I mean come on, your'e supposed to look forward to new drivers not dread them.

LoL, if truth be told, AMD drivers are downloaded on average 5 million times a month. With only a 100 or so complaints. If you are having a problem (and some of the same ones do) why don't you contact AMD to ask for help (since no user suggests ever seem to help you)? It's better to contact AMD to ask for help (call them, etc) instead of bringing public awareness that you are part of a minority that can't seem to get your computer working right.

Interesting. I'm getting the exact same thing on my 5970. I was wondering why my framerates were so disappointing.

All these drivers problems? Really? I doubt there have been 100 unique driver related issues for cat 10.12 during the month of December 2010 from this forum. Let alone if you could find such a number would only be a parity to the number who actually download the drivers per month (roughly 5 million).

So lets wrap this up shall we? If you are having a problem with your video card/drivers. I highly recommend that you contact AMD to help assist you with your problem if no user posted advice can offer you help .

Well you cant say. Most of those users wouldnt even start looking at their drivers if there's a problem.

That, or it bricks their computers so hard they cant write a complaint online with it.
