Your CORE is your cpu temp. i prefer CoreTemp to monitor my CPU, personally.

The other temps could be your northbridge, hdd and/or case temps.

You don't want to go above 55c with a Phenom, so as long as that's near full load, you're fine.

thanks smile.gif

Could anyone suggest a way to get the temperature down a bit?

Here's a diagram of how my PC is set up at the moment? Should I change the fans around?

You should change the top fan to intake and have the bottom fan as exhaust imo.
If your not going to be overclocking then set the voltage to 1.2000v which should lower temps by about 5c under idle and load (it did for me).

62c is the MAX temp of most phenom chips - just make sure you don't go above it.

speed fan requires you to have another program everest preferably then cross check temps and figure out what are what.. you can goto configure and change names of them when you find out what they are

From my experience, Speedfan readings can be anywhere from quirky to outright absurd depending upon the system components (sometimes it is spot on).

You could also try HWMonitor or RealTemp to confirm or debunk the readings.
