This is what i have so far:

GPU - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-104-MS
Screen - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-034-BQ
CPU -http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-265-AM
MB - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MB-034-AK
PSU - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-201-CM
RAM - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-203-CS
Case - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-002-XG
DVD Drive - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CD-136-SA

Budget is around £550 ideally. I have a hard drive already. I'm hoping that the cpu will unlock. So what do you all say to this build?, for gaming obviously . The one major pat im worried about is the cpu, seems a bit week to me compared to the gpu.

i just got the same ram you have and love it. Your power supply is a little low. The gtx470 requires a 600w power supply, the one you picked out is only 550w. I would go with a 700-750w psu just to be safe. Also dont forget cables!

I do not recommend that CPU with unlocking, as it has merely an unheatsinked 4+1 power phase. Look for a heatsinked 8+2 power phase board such as the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO if you want to unlock. An unlocked Phenom II consumes 125W or more which is approaching the limits of a 4+1 power phase.

I'd go with an Asus or GigaByte for stability and a definite unlocker.
