New Budget build..

Hello all, brand new here...I'm on a fairly tight budget, trying to get the most for my $$..I was having trouble deciding between the phenom II x4 965 BE or the x6 1075t..But i'll lay out the components i'm thinking about and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Need:
Processor: phenom ii x4 965 BE ($156) or x6 1075t ($199)
Motherboard: ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 ($139.99)
RAM: GSkill ripjaws 2x2gb ($69.99)

Already own:
PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA750 750 watt PSU
GPU: 2x evga gts 250
HDD: 1tb 7200rpm hdd
500gb 7200rpm hdd
2x 640gb 7200rpm hdd (running in external raid box)

I'm open to suggestions, i'm trying to keep the CPU + RAM + MOBO as close to $400 as possible, figured 4gb ram now, and i can grab another 4 in a couple months. Was having trouble finding a usb 3.0 sli mobo, but seeing as though i have 2 gts 250, sli is more important to me than usb 3.0. Waiting wouln't bring more $$ to the budget, but if something like waiting for new socket or for more sli usb3 boards to come out is worth the time, thats a helpful suggestion, thanks...

You can cut off some price on the mobo, a M4A88TD-V will be enough

He cant. he has to sli 250's..

To the OP, is this just for gaming? If so 965BE will be more than enough. if not get the x6 1055t

M4A88TD-V would be perfect, but its a crossfire card, doesn't support sli as far as i know...and i have to work with what I have, 2 nvidia gts 250s.

I did explore intel solutions...The problem with intel is the motherboards, as far as I can see there's not an sli mobo that supports dual 16x for under $200.

Also, that mobo I listed doesnt support ddr3 1600, just "DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066" ... So if I went with ddr3 1333, that helps the budget a bit. And newegg has the 1075t x6 processor with a $15 gc until the 31st so if i order soon that helps a little with my decision too.

Primarily, this machine is meant for web design/photography/graphic design/light gaming...I'd like it to support as much as it can, if i put $ into something, it's nice to see the results so seeing crysis maxed out etc is obviously nice but not crucial. I need it to perform well with adobe photoshop cs5, adobe lightroom, run games like team fortress 2 and l4d2 smoothly...Anything past those is bonus, really. I don't think it's hard to reach my requirements, but trying to also put $ where it will get me performance now and will last a little while.

Thanks for the comments keep em coming

if u can save money and get lower chip and maybe get some water colling to get nice OC

also you can try and sell your 2 gpu and buy just one.I would go in the market section and look what people got for sell, well that what i would do:"D
