THIS.

Although really you should aim for the 570. :3 or you could (jumps to the other green team) get a 6950 for less and either OC or unlock to 6970. A good bit cheaper than the 570 while offering more VRAM for AA and similar performance.

Yeah and it also performs head to head (1gb) with a 570 I presume.
But if you oc it to 900/1800/4200 like the Gainward GLH edition card, you can get performance better than a stok 470 sli and a 5970 by a good bit. I can show proof if anyone wants, but this is OT.

OP: if you're rich: 570
If you miss ati and you're rich: 6950
If you're well to do: 470 or 470 sli
If you're ok: 460 or 460 sli
If you're poor: 450sli

I'm pretty sure that if you're "rich" you'll be getting more than a single 570. Rich people buy multiple 580s.

Lol ofcourse I'm just applying it to OPs choices. OP should really get tri SLI 580 and enable 16SSAA with max AF and DOF and use the 450 for physx to finally max out METRO @ 60 fps

Just for the record, 450's in SLI are actually stunningly close, perf-wise, to a stock GTX470. However, out of the box, 450's are closer, %-wise, to their max OC's than a 470 is (470 has more OC'ing headroom, iow) so a max clocked 470 can beat max clocked 450's in SLI by a good 15-20%.

Basically if you look up benchmarks and see how a 470 does relative to a 570, you'll get a fairly close estimation of how SLI 450's would do vs. a 570, strictly talking about out-of-box perf.

I'd say if you already own a 450, and you get the SLI hack to work on your board ... getting another 450 is a WAAAAAAAY better bang-for-buck proposition than a 570.

Honestly, compared to what 470's can be had for these days, the 570 is overpriced, not the best 'value' oriented gaming card by any stretch. It's more a luxury item ... sure it's quieter, cooler, and uses a touch less power than a 470, but ... these are not usually the most important concerns when you're on a budget.

I think 450 SLI would be more value if you already own one.
