Go for it Rookie1337, threadjacker:) Looks like we are in a race here as it is. Here are my settings line for line from the Bios in its Term, help me translate the voltage settings as it looks like there are duplicates.

Currently Stable(will test through the night):
CPU FSB 240
CPU Mult: 15x
CPU Freq: 3600
CPU_NB Mult:8x
CPU_NB Freq: 1920
FSB:RAM Ratio: 1:3.33
RAM Freq: 1600
HT Mult: 8x
HT Freq: 1920
Voltages
CPU VDD: Auto (1.25)
CPU_NB VDD: Auto(1.25)
CPU Voltage: 1.53
CPU NB Voltage: Auto(1.2)
Dram Voltage: 1.65
NB Voltage: Auto (1.08)
HT Link: Auto (1.20)

Everyone says raise your nb voltage, I head palm because I have 3 of them. I will try to get 3.75 Stable tomorrow if 3.6 is good to go. {Hopefully} bigger pics as requested.
WhereIam-1.jpg?t=1293601215
Large-1.jpg?t=1293601250
AndNow-1.jpg?t=1293601275
They are on the bucket and might get bandwidth limited after a while.

I think I'm screwed. I'm going to drop back down to 3.6 and see if it is stable @ or below 1.5 because with the voltage fluctuations my board gives I'd probably hitting 1.6+ at times if I go any higher on voltages. I hit 1.57 already at 1.5. I'm actually considering refunding this board because I have a ungodly long POST time of 20+ seconds along with a mysterious mouse issue(jumpy and erratic).

EDIT: LOL Fixed the mouse issue I think. Apparently, this board comes with USB1.0 and puts that were you want to hook up a mouse, next to the single PS/2 port.

My BIOS just list VDDNB and that's the only thing related to NB I get outside of chipset. It says it's controlled by the CPU and when I go to 1.4 it turns red. I have no idea why you so many NB voltages. Your manual probably left out any mention of them and what they did right? I love how they tell you what all the things you know are and forget to put the things you don't know in the damn manual. -_-

My computer from power button to win with Coretemp, skype and Gatherplace loaded is 31 seconds, but I have an SSD. If I was not so close to going to SLI I would get a new board, there are a ton of AMD chip-sets that OC very well from what I read. I just dont have a ton of faith in the SLI Hack or fusion yet.

My Bios turns red at 1.4 as well on the CPU and Yellow on the Ram at 1.6, but I have the corsair dominators that are 1.65v. Just to get stability I have to over-volt that. That is just recommended. 3.6 is not bad for an Athalon is what I am going to tell my self, then I will go all out once bulldozer gets here.

Just thought I'd input my frustration with my 640 too, 3.5GHz @ 1.44v is fine but any more than 3.5GHz (even with 1.5v+) will not make it stable.

I did manage to get my FSB to 250MHz for 2500MHz CPUNB @ 1.3v, memory @ 1332 7-7-7-20.

These chips may well be C3 revision but from the stories online they won't OC far under 1.5v (reaching the limits of air).

Just for a little reference my old x2 240 C2 would hit 3.85Ghz @ 1.45v (1050MHz OC), or everyday at 3.5GHz @ 1.39v, 2500MHz CPUNB at stock voltage.

Mines at 3.6GHz you WILL need about 1.5v
just so you guys know, [CPU-NB] voltage is connected to the IMC northbridge frequency in the memory tab in CPUz and [NB] voltage is connected to HT link for the northbridge chip on the motherboard.

[CPU-NB] max is 1.45v. i use 1.35 for up to 2600 mhz on the northbridge just fine. 1.45 is only needed if your going 2800+ which you probably wont need on the athlon.

[NB] i have it set to 1.2v. thats +.1v from stock. since the HT link is staying close to stock (around 2000 mhz) you dont need alot of extra volts here. 1.35 should be max for NB tho.

...and if the "setting" turns red in the bios dont worry. it doesnt mean its too much, just that the bios writers are warning you that its getting higher than rated (or what they think is too high), which if your cooling is on par you should be fine. i always use CPUz (which is a reading vs a setting) to see what my actual volts are cuz most boards fluctuate.

"Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?" If i can hit 270 FSB on my AII X4 620 yall should be breezing @ 3.8GHz with the higher multis.

I think the reason we're struggling has more to do with the board than the chip at this point. I remember years ago when I had my 6400windsor and reading about the infamous 250 reference wall. I guess I had hoped they'd overcome that with time but it's not looking good.

I've dropped back down to 3.6 at 1.45 and currently one hour into p95. Didn't make it this far with 3.75 and 1.5 volts because about 30mins in one or more core began to fall 1-2 tests behind. It was weird.

UPDATE: 2hrs in and now all the cores are on different tests. Am I unstable or is this OK? And if anyone wants to state with absolute certainty what VDDNB is that would help us out.

Dude if you can't ATLEAST manage 5 runs of Intel Burn Test with all RAM tested then it's not stable. Prime95 sucks....

Simply getting CPU-Z of high clocks is no good at all, stability is key and with your heat sink it aint going to happen.

I was at 3.6Ghz Intel Burn Test stable with 1.5v under a full custom water cooling loop and I couldn't get it any higher.
