Google will be able to help you. Ask it how to crack Crysis. Run virus scans on whatever you download BEFORE you even open the archive, just to make sure it's clean. Sometimes unscrupulous sceners will put malware into cracks.

I'd love to link you, and indeed even have such software on my system, but OCN's rules dictate I'm not allowed to share.

Not the point. The point is we shouldn't have to in the first place. We paid for our games. We shouldn't be needlessly restricted in accessing those games.

I understand that this is NOT the point but do you think complaining is going to do anything. Im sure even if you complained right to the publishers face they still wouldnt remove it.

Its a crap feature to say the least & I dont like it anymore then the next person. I was just being helpful thats all

I have Steam on a separate drive. It works.

Where do you change the destination drive? I have tried putting my steam games on a separate HDD, but there is no option to change the destination drive.

I thought there was a removal tool from SecuROM's website. Or is that only a temporary fix? Interesting that EA has one removal tool for Warhead.

All you have to do is exit out of steam, move your entire steam folder to the desired drive, then, before you start steam back up, delete the file ClientRegistry.blob in your steam folder. Start up steam, and ta da.

And this is why I have never bought a game that uses securom, and never will.
