Was trying to stick to Amazon since he mentioned he preferred it due to no sales tax. Unfortunately, that kit was out of stock there. If he's fine getting stuff from Newegg, though, then that's a better option. Of course, he could always check what sales are available at Fry's and Micro Center. They've got pretty decent prices, too.

Eh, Fry's and Microcenter have really really poor RAM selections; you'd be better off spending less for the RAM (even if there is tax) on Newegg than buying any RAM from those two stores.
