crysis crash on setings

Just downloaded crysis from steam and when I try to adjust system settings it stops reponding as soon as I hit apply. What gives yo? I am downloading warhead and war aswell if that makes a difference.....I doubt it does.

Strange, are you able to go into the game folder and run as admin and/or run in compatibility mode?

delete that crysis folder in your documents
and try again, make sure you back up saved games

Its actually accepting the changes after I alt tab del out and restart. Haven't made any adjustments yet. Just wanted to put that out there and see what you have to say before I do anything.

Surprised nobody answered this but Crysis is poorly coded but it's a amazing game. You will get crashes every once awhile.

I've always had problems with steam not responding. Thats what has kept me away from it for the most part when I can avoid it.

Im suprised no one mentioned this before. I dont think your Rig is Powerful enough HAHA J/k

The problem is Very common with Crysis and Steam. Looking all over the net it seems everyone has issues

Did that, still crashing. Crashed on startup a couple times now as well.
