Help a NooBs with watercooling setup

I have a Thermaltake SwordM case that came with a crappy watercooling loop that I never used. thinking about setting up a watercooling loop similar to the Thermaltake except with quality parts. Heres the list I'm considering.

The Magicool 120mm quad is the only radiator I could find that would fit on the door like the Thermaltake rad. Could/should I use 2 120mm duals instead of the 120mm quad?

I'm planning putting a pump/res combo at the rear door of the case like the Thermaltake one was mounted. Bad idea?

I can mount up to a 360mm rad on top but if I go over a 240 I'll have to move my dvd drive. Not a big deal but doable.

Another option is space for a 240mm rad on bottom of case.

I like the top mount and bottom radiator mounting options because it gives me places to hide cables for cable management that my case is lacking.

Bought some NZXT sleeved cable extensions for a cable management project later this week.

I would go with a different pump like a mcp 355 or 655 with a bayres that the pump can mount to. XSPC makes them and they take up 2 5.25 bays. If you don't want a bayres then I would go with a mcp355 with aftermarket res pumptop or a cylindrical res and the 355 with acrylic pumptop addon

If the mounting holes are designed for four 120's then it would a safe bet to got for a 240x240 rad, simply because most 240x120 rads won't properly mount side by side because they would be to wide.

The pump that you have should work for a small loop like that, but if you want to add more in the future, IE a second video card, more radiators, NB and mosfet blocks, ect then a better pump would be a good decision.

Thanks guys, my only concern about a bay res is that it's a big case and it's a long way from the drive bays to the cpu. I think it would make for an unsightly/awkward loop. thoughts?

With the rad in the side door or bottom and the pump/res in the rear door everything will be in close proximity.

Its possible that you could have enough room below the 480 radiator, to Velcro the pump to the side panel far enough back the the tubes will run upwards. Get the schematics on the pump and do some measuring and leave like 3/16s of an inch for the excess space the radiator will take.

Gotta love how that case kinda looks like its on a skate board, I kinda like the Idea and if I find the right deck I may do it for real lol.
