Definitely +1 for the RAM call- looks like you're at 1800 and you're on 1600 RAM. Certainly not unheard of but not going to help you in your search for stability. Go back in to your RAM frequency setting and drop it manually to closer to stock. (1600). Leave your RAM power at 1.65 or thereabouts- but keep it as close to stock as you can. Actually, in the earlier stages of finding stability a lot of us will drop it right out of the equation by bringing it down quite a bit- like to 1300 or so. Worth a thought. You definitely owe DJ some rep!

No rule of thumb per se- again everyone's equipment is different. Rule of thumb might be that tighter timings are often better than higher frequency (MUCH debate about that!)

These chips run pretty cool. I never get above 69C on any stress test at 4.15Ghz with an H50. I do have a lot of air going through my case though!
