Apply good TIM to North & South bridges?

Thread Starter
ASUS M4A87TD EVO.

Would it be advantageous to pull off the N & S bridges' heatsinks, clean chips, & apply some good TIM? I am using Shin-Etsu on my CPU to begin with; just curious if there would be any expected positive results, or if the pro's would be next to negligible.
