So I've taken some pictures of the BIOS. I hope they make sense, let me know if you need details on which sections and sub menus I was in.

Turned on XMP, RAM is now running at advertised 2133mhz and timings. The CPU was also auto OC'd to 152.5mhz bus speed and it's humming along nicely. The issue was in the power management I think. I am not sure how the option EuP 2013 affects power management but after turning that off a myriad of problem went away. NOTE: After turning off however my computer would not properly shut down. Upon restart it would say CMOS values are corrupt and would prompt for USB to flash bios. But after restarting and setting to default values it was OK.
I now have XMP profile setup and everything else as standard (CPU oc'd obviously). EuP 2013 is now enabled but I am not getting the same errors for some reason. Everything is starting up ok and shutting down just fine. Time to start pushing the envelope!
