If you don't mind buying second hand a great guy on the forums is selling a GTX465 which has been unlocked to a 470 for £130.

Also a little over budget but here is a 5850 for £166.

Don't mean to ruin Waffle's sale at all; he's a great guy, but I'm just going to point out that the 470 isn't in 100% working condition. If you're interested in it, just make sure you read everything he has to say about it. And what others have to say as well.

I'd say it's really your choice between the GTX 460 and the 6850 if you're buying used. They both have similar performance and both have their advantages and disadvantages. It all comes down to personal preference really. Also, you can just about get a 5850 for £150, which performs better than both the GTX 460 and the 6850.

They will probably fetch about £50 each

That would give you £250 with which you could get a 6970, or 6950 or such
Just out of interest, because I no longer need them.

APPROX how much do you think I could sell a q6600 + 650i sli mobo + 2 8800gtx for?

Agreed on the CPU and GPU prices, maybe £40-50 for the motherboard? If the Q6600 is a G0 SLACR chip, you might be able to get £80+ for it.
Thinking sensible numbers about £50 for each GTX so £100.

Probs around £50 for the mobo that will be the hardest to sell IMO.

And yeah £75 for the CPU so £225 in total if all went well.

With all of that, you could buy another 470 and SLI it with mine, with change to spend on something nice, like some aftershave.

Yeah, I think you could safely assume that you'll fetch £200 for the lot.
I got £40 for an 8800 GT some time ago and you should be able to get at least the same for yours, so £50 is a good estimate.

I'd get the GTX 460. The cooler looks better.
