So my question concerning my WC loop is that with the ek nickel & acetal NB & SB block I have.

So yes I understand the NB part of this but as far as the SB goes do I leave this annoying blue asus metal piece on? Or is there a way to remove it/something I should alter about it before putting the .5mm thermal pad on it followed by the block? I haven't done anything with it yet, just want to make sure & do it correctly before I do anything with it.

Image for extra clarification. Link.

Thanks for your time & consideration.
