recommended speech recognition software?

I just finished watching the anime serial experiments lain and all i could think was "I WANT THAT" when she spoke with her navi/persacom/whatever. I remember trying these back in 99 and there had to of been advancements. any particularly good ones?

As far as I know, the most well regarded 10 years ago is still the same now; Dragon Naturally Speaking.

I remember a name from a few years back it might give you a starting point. The software was called Dragon NaturallySpeaking i never used it just heard about it.

Guess i was beaten to it.
