What do you use your laptop for when you already have a desktop? - Page 6

i use it to surf the web and for downloading, because i shun any antivirus , then i also am right now using it as a bridge, and to play some basic stuff and watch movies on, i also code with it, but ive given it a slight boost so it runs HOT, as in it burns you, and will shut down if its just on your lap

Its what I use when stress/stability testing. Mine has a tuner it and a 17 in screen so I watch tv before bed until I get a tuner for my desktop. I use my netbook more then my laptop actually. Its great for network trouble shooting and travel.

Run games on my Sig Rig and then Use the laptop to communicate, use it as a backup for when ui am modding my sig rig, school, I also remote control my desktop from the living room or from school.
Porn and well portability. I have 3 monitors on my desk and with my laptop, 4. so I have both my Sig Rig and laptop in dualscreen modes.

I use mine so I can watch tv with my surround sound instead of sitting upstairs in my computer room with a small tv and no decent sound.

I use my Asus gamer more than my Sig Rig as of Late. This way I can still be in the room with my Fiancee and play the video games I want, without feeling like I am neglecting her while I am up in the office in a raid, or shooting people in BC2.

Most of my surfing, and bill paying, etc I also do on the laptop.

My desktop is in my bedroom, I use my laptop in the livingroom while watching TV. Also I take it to class with me and sometimes I need Mac specific software.
