lol calm down bro (did you seriously just send me a PM?), it's the internet don't take things so personally

livewire is just as gimmicky as monster gold plated hdmi cables, you recommended that he spend $14 for a cable that cost $2 at monoprice

if that's not bad advice then damn i dont know what is

http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Delta1010LT.html

The M-Audio Delta 1010LT has XLR output if you want balanced sound. This is something you could consider if you are looking to maintain the balanced circuitry from source to speakers.

Hey Astrallite, Have you used that card before? I'm curious about it. I've seen a few others but to be honest have never seen/heard one.

Appreciate the help.

RCA cables are probably good enough considering the audio is going to be unbalanced out of the sound card. However, some people get radio interference with RCA depending upon the electrical wiring in their house.

XLR is more for people who have lots of recording equipment. Balanced cables are said to sound different than RCA, although YMMV.
