Auria? A good Brand or not?

Thread Starter
This TV is in my price range and would suit my needs very well:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889611019&cm_re=auria-_-89-611-019-_-Product

Just wondering if they are a reputable manufacturer seeing as i have never heard of them. Any advice would be great smile.gif

Looks like a cheap rebrand of something.

It'll work, but they aren't really a reputable manufacturer.

Cool, I think im going to pull the trigger on this tomorrow, planning on running a 25ft HDMI cable from my computer room to this tv so I can actually have a use for my living room.

EDIT: Of course unless there is any other suggestions around this price point for a better TV?

You would be much better off with something like these.

I've never bought something open box before, to me the idea seems like it may have been sent back because something is wrong with it? I'm not sure if that's sound reasoning or not. I could Increase my budget, but I would prefer to stay around the 350$ ish range. If not and I increase my budget, I have to wait until after new years.

Agree with what they say.

Get a known brand, like Sony, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Panasonic, Philips.

Some of their TVs may not be excellent, but with a known brand at least you know you're not getting a POS.
