Alright thanks, I'm at 200 x 18 for 3.6 Ghz atm and idle temps are about 30 idle and 47 under 100% load, I did bump the vCore straight to 1.4000v so i'm going to lower it and see how far I can get with it lower

All that being said I'm bumping the vCore up since prime 95 pretty much instantly caused a restart.. lol

Bumping the vCore to 1.4375... then 1.45 if this isn't stable.. any other settings I should change in particular?

Remember that 1.55v is the maximum I believe. Going over that is realy pushing it.

You should check the temperatures again with P95, if it's 55c or under you're good.

If the initial P95 run didnt crash, and temps are fine. You should do a 8+ hour P95 run on blend. If it doesnt crash or have any errors you have a very stable system.

Unless, you want to go higher

Well A quick prime 95 and a BSOD popped up on me, As much as I think 4 GHz would be nice to have I think i'll stick with 3.65 Ghz for now.

Using fsb as well as multiplier will help overall performance. Using multiplier alone wont see as good of an increase.

I think you should start at 220x17.

This will overclock your RAM and cpu-nb a little while giving you a cpu clock of 3.74ghz. From there you can inch up the fsb, watching your temps and running 20min p95 tests each time. You will probably need to bump up your vcore as well. Start vcore at 1.4v and go no higher than 1.45v on air cooling.

When running p95 blend test, watch for errors or worker stops. Check the p95 log and tell us what error you get. Most of the time it is rounding errors which are usually caused by memory needing more voltage or to be underclocked.

Lastly, with all due respect, take what we are saying seriously. Get prime95 and run tests while monitoring temps. Also, coretemp isnt the best in my book...get hwmonitor. If you dont test properly, bad things could happen. At the very least you will be running temps that will cause games to turn choppy and drop fps, at the very worst you could cook something on your board (I did that once and it sucked!).

Hope this helps
