Steelseries Xai - Page 2

Are the factory feet of the Xai the same as those sold separately?

I read that the factory feet are made of cheap plastic and the sold separately are made of Teflon.

no way, these are definitely not cheap plastic

I think you're confusing that with the Kinzu. The Kinzu comes with horrible plastic feet that feel really scratchy and rough on a hard pad.

plastic won't wear out as quick though, so the Xai's feet will likely need replacing if it sees extended/hard use

I must have made confusion. Thank you.

So can i say that the replacement feet are THE SAME feet that come with Xai?

"The SteelSeries Glide Xai is a set of replacement mouse feet for the SteelSeries Xai Laser gaming mouse. To reduce friction, enhance glide and improve accuracy, we recommend that you replace your mouse feet
whenever they may appear or feel worn out. The SteelSeries Glide Xai are made from high quality gaming grade Teflon."
suppose to be great. wink.gif

I still do not understand.

My question is: Are they the same feet?

Does those feet to sale have the exactly the same caracteristics of the factory feet?

I ask this because I had the sensation that to change original feet of the Xai for those that are to sale separately should enhance the glide and durability. Regardless of the feet of factory has been wear out or not.

I apologize for my english and confusion.

Its hard to tell since I dont think someone had really change the orginal great feet.
If so, it still great - "high quality Teflon".
There is 1more option of getting the 'corepad' company that makes xai feet, but I dont know about the Product.

puretrak.com makes really awsome mice feet for the xai/kinzu. as well as many other mice. they are cheap and the glide they produce is amazing.
