Anyone used these before? - Page 2

No, but I've rigged a small 1" fan inside the bottom 5.25" bay slot that blows air directly on my ram. With the Antec 300, you have two 4" fans blowing directly onto (up to ) six hdd's. Personally, if it fits and it works to directly cool the ram side and therefore, also, the heatsink and processor area, go for it. For the price, it's worth trying out. You can always use it for a mod or parts later.

Have fun.

Have searched and searched and can't find anything else so i think i'll give them a go. If they're crap then i could just sell them or chuck em or something. Not too expensive to try em out.

Thanks all.
As you only have 2 bays, I recommend this Evercool's product which uses 80mm fan which should give more CFM and less noise. It comes in black or white.

1.) Does anybody have any experience using these things or anything else like it?
Yes. The small size of the fans kinda make the unit a little "wheezy" and (imho) not all that effective.

Sycthe Kama Bay Cooler

Lian Li bay device

** these types of additions are more effective, imho.

Yeah but it draws in air through vents in the side of the door. Works pretty well. Good enough to operate my H50 anyways.
