What do you think of my xbox fan mod?

Hello,I'm Dave,12, a student and this is my first post here @ overclock.net. I want to show you, and ask what you think on my xbox 360. Does this do any good on cooling?, Will this prolong my console?, did I do the right thing?,etc. I've been playing games since I was a child on the ps2, and now I have tried to do a fan mod on my 360 by myself out of worries that the stock setup might cause unwanted heating errors. I know that my 360 looks ugly, so please let's not talk about that, I'm all about system stability and longetivity.

So here's what I did,
(all of the fans I added runs off an external power source, including the rear fan which I have increased to 12v)

so here it is!

I first put the dvd drive outside, then I put a fan on top of the GPU heatsink. Then I cut a hole on the upper plastic to accomodate another fan on top of the cpu. I then increased to 12volts the rear fans..
I have done this for months and I have been playing for like 6-8 hours a day.
The air the rear fans blow are not hot/not cold either. I encounter no problems so far except for occasional hangs/freezes.
What do you think of this? Is this an effective way to prevent rrod?
Thanks anyway for reading my post!

Haha that made my day,

But it looks pretty good, everyone starts somewhere.
maybe one day you'll be the greatest, like me

edit: also I'd make sure to keep dust build up to a minimum.

hey people how are you doing?
I've tried to tweak my 360 again and I suppose that this brings more cooling than my previous setup.
I removed the plastic inside as it brings more dust. I've also removed the exhaust fan and I made it into an heatsink fan since I'm gonna let the console open when I play.

what do you think?

Thanks!
