recapping graphics card

Thread Starter
Alrighty, i have a Zogis 8600GT that i got through a trade, and who's primary purpose is to fold in my folding computer.
However, over the last few weeks since i got it, its rather extreme overclock has put the nail in the coffin for the capacitors on the card, as was evidenced by noticeable capacitor squealing when the card was loaded at that clock.

I have thus decided to recap the entire card, but first i need a little help as i have little experience in this. I need the card to withstand a heavy overclock for an extended period of time, and at a fairly high load. What capacitors would i need to change the value of in order to achieve this goal without b0rking the card for good?

here is a pic of the card i have, but NOT EXACTLY. This was one i dug up through GIS and its using a slightly different PCB. Capacitors with a red X over them are not on my 8600. Also, the big choke between the GPU and connectors is gray, the coil is exposed, and has the numbering "1R0" on the side.
Capacitors in blue are 1500uF 6.3V capacitors with no brand name
Capacitors in Orange are 470uF 16V with no brand name.
sorry if the markings are a little hard to see.

Im getting the capacitors from a dead AM2 board (i accidentially crushed the chipset) and from a PCI FX 5500 who's fan failed and pretty much nuked the chip. all of the replacement capacitors are branded either Rubycon or KZG.

thank you for your time.

I know this is old as hell, but I found it when I was searching google images...

All of the capacitors with the "T-Vent" on them, (Top looks like a T has been etched into them), are Panasonic capacitors. They are presumably marked with either FM, FJ, or FL. These are high quality low-ESR electrolytic capacitors. VERY reliable.

good necro wonder why the OP would plan on replacing such perfectly wonderful caps for air cooled GPU ... ..

*those caps are also electrolytic ..and very 'freezable' ..not the best for close placement to the core if you plan on freezing.
