dual vs quad 555be

Thread Starter
hi, guys.

a question for you. i have been messin' with my rig..bla bla bla and found that my 555be clocks to around 4.1 in dual core mode. it will clock to 3.7 (stable) in 4 core mode.

here's the q; which is better, 4.1 dual or 3.7 quad?

both set-up's play all my games at around the same fps

any advise or opinion would be great.

There wont be a difference really... so its what you want..

do you want a higher clocked dual core or a modest overclocked quad. I'd want the 4.1ghz dual core.

most games dont use multicore and not loads of programs do, so depending on what you do with the pc, probs dual core at 4.1

Go with the quad. Multi-core support is growing for quad-cores within games. You'll see some good gains with a quad within these games.
