How to remove bios password from Laptop

Hi I have a problem my mate has forgot his bios password, i dont know what to do to reset it as its a laptop,
does anyone know what to do , how do i remove or reset it ?

i assume you cant access the blue screen bios reset settings page by pressing "Delete" as soon as you turn it on. id take out the battery and press the power button for 2-3 seconds if that doesnt work you may need to look for the cmos batter and pressing the power button but that means taking it apart.
