alrighty, i need a new Camera as i have misplaced / lost in the move to GA old faithful Canon Ixus 750 from germany

id like the cam to be no more then $200 and it should be at bestbuy as i have a instore credit there of up to $190... im headed there today and was going to pick up the best thing i can find, wouldnt mind some input from the photo guru's on here as a heads up tho.

i dont have a brand preference, however i d like it to have a battery pack rather then the AA recharge hassle that only lasts for a few shots.

id prefer the price to be around the $160-180 price mark actually to be able to get a camera bag and maybe a big sd card for it, as i take a lot of pics of random stuff, mostly inside tho.

thanks in advance

they have the Powershot 1300 for $107.99 or the Powershot 1400 for $147.99 on sale right now, would those be a good choice maybe ?

I've always liked the Canon Ixus series.

yup me too, was a very reliable point and shoot cam, just mine had some serious beatings behind in the past, the shutter would not work well after 2500+ pics due to a small flip on my rc truck. was my own fault tho.

i went ahead and grabbed one of these :

i am HAPPY with 140 bucks invested i got the cam, 4gb sd card and a nice bag for it !
