Vertex 2 Extend 120Gb or C300 128Gb? - Page 2

For loading Win 7, any good SSD will do it really quickly.
As for the games, I can't say for sure. But I'd imagine any real difference in performance is minimal.

Just go with a drive you really want. Worst thing would be buyer's remorse.
I have a friend who's OCD when it comes to these things.

If you can get past the price increase go with the C300. But, I think I would go with the Vertex 2, just seems to be one of the best at the right price over here in Canada at least.

Think u need to have a good think, Ive not long had the Vertex2 60GB and for everyday computing it rocks, its blazingly fast. For me from pushing pwr button to loading Win7 with all the eye candy, sidebar, rocket dock, avast free, and opening a page on firefox is 31 seconds. Power dvd 9 ultra takes about 1 second to open, it seemed to take longer than what i was going to watch on myWD Caviar green....

As regards Trim, a thread on the OCZ website brings up the point how do we actually know this is working? Enabled maybe but working? OCZ say why should they spend resources making software to show it is?

I find it a fantastic upgrade more than anything in yonks, but the setting up etc is far from user friendly....IMO

Just get one you wont regret it, less it implodes in three days
