Just to add to the "no-dye" cause, I just took my loop apart to change from PC-Ice + red dye bombs, to distilled water. I let it run 4 times for 1 hour with distilled/10%vinegar, and even the fourth time, the liquid was almost blood red, simple from the released crap that had clogged up the block and other parts. Also, my clear tygon tuping was no longer see-through, but simply pink.

The loop had been running for like 2 months.

Distilled is the way to go, and I doubt I will ever go any other path.

Distilled water & Kill coil FTW. Hard lesson learned for the OP.

This is a good thread for the reasons on why not to use UV Dye , It starts out as a powder and under all the heating and cooling down it turns back to a powder, but obvoisley cant when its in water so it turns to Gunk.

Dont forget ot flush the Rad out aswell with Distilled water or De-iornised water, as there could be some Gunk in there too
