If it can't beat SB, then this would probably be the end of their hype machine.
There's no sense in hyping something more if you know it can't beat the competition. It'll only create a ton of angry people when it is released.

If it can beat SB, expect to see more hype later on.

beat SB at what? superpi? 3DMark? Sandra?
what bentmarks do you want Llano to "win?"

or would you rather see actual usage experience feedback;
where the workload nor bentmark itself isn't ICC compiled or hand-tuned?

yes everything is a big conspiracy, you are not imagining things..

though I agree nothing will happen if SB will still remain the fastest, AMD will keep offering a good value, their revenues will still suffer though (having to adjust their prices according to the market value)

The APU should become a great product considering the CPU can communicate directly with the GPU on a much faster scale.

80 sps, considering their current IGPs are only just beaten by the IGPs in SB and have 40sps...Yeah, assuming they're both at 700Mhz...Wow, I know I probably will be fine with the IGP alone.

Fusion looks to compete with the lower end SB CPUs and the high end IGPs.

When, in terms of watts, it'll probably compete with an Atom.

I doubt anyone can play MW2 or BlackOps with them at high details.

I love AMD/ATI but Sandy Bridge IGP is no worse than AMD Fusion APUs. They should bring something to destroy crappy Intel IGP yet all AMD do is focusing on power/heat stuff.

If they somehow manage to integrate a 5750 level of GPU into their processors then it would change everything.
Err, the SB IGP barely beats AMDs current IGP...This new one will be a massive performance increase. (From 40sps at 700Mhz to 80sps at at least 700Mhz, probably higher)

Considering my HD3300 at 850Mhz played FO new vegas on low-medium at 1080p with the DLL hack...Well, these will be fine for nearly any game.

Chances are, they're gonna get OpenCL support going really good and then just slowly change instructions for the FPU to go on the GPU.

Bulldozer is currently expected to provide single-threaded performance comparable to Intel's 2009 Core processors in 2012.

who knows.....both have something up their sleeves.
We will wait and see. Besides, single threaded performance now turns obsolete. But judging from the advertisements and marketing alone, AMD has the advantage as of now.
3DNow, a non-power guzzling, Mhz wanting architecture, AMD64, real dual cores that weren't limited by having to communicate through the FSB, moving the memory controller on the CPU (Granted, others did it too), etc.

Forgive me if I'm highly skeptical of all these APU claims.
AMD destroyed Intel with the Athlon64, the only reason AMD isn't far further ahead in marketshare now is due to Intel paying off OEMs not to use AMD CPUs.

phh.. dont bother I dont want a gpu taking up space on my CPU, drop more CPU cores in there and a bit more cache.. then pair that with a monster discrete video card, then we are talking.. gaming.. people are going to buy these things and expect GTX580 performance, but be sorely disappointed. I swear the pc industry is all about selling junk to people that think they are getting gold.
This is for the note/netbook market, not for the "person-who-buys-a-top-of-the-line-rig" market, we get Bulldozer without any IGPs. (Except on the chipset as per usual)
Compare to SB where the enthusiast chips (K edition) have the IGP HD3000 or w/e they're calling it.

From a verified good review site.

Keep in mind..The IGP from AMD that is meant to compete/match the HD5450 is the Atom level APU, compare to the HD Graphics 3000 which are for rigs like ours.

In other words, its like saying "THIS ATOM CAN'T OUT PERFORM MY CORE i7", well duh, different markets.

Depends, they're aiming Fusion at the notebook market, if it beats notebook SB and the Atom...Great, I think SB will win for CPUs but Fusion will kick SBs butt in Graphics.

You do realise that 1) Intels compiler has been known to on purposely add code to make programs run slower on VIA and AMD CPUs, someone changed their CPU ID from VIA to Intel and got a performance increase in PCMark and 2) SuperPi has been known for being a horribly biased benchmark.
