Lots of people with Z5500 always say "lol they get so loud people got mad lol." That doesn't make them good, that's what I'm saying.

Music is 2 channel, not 5 channel. If you're listening to music, surround sound is useless. I used to have the set, they sucked for music. Male vocals booming out of an already muddy sub isn't very pleasing to listen to.

Correct. You wouldn't go to a concert and have the drummer be behind you, the vocals in front of you and the bass to the side of you. You want all of them to be in front of you. That is why most songs are not recorded in 5.1.

Most or all music is 2 channel.

If you set these speakers just right, you can experience music really good on them.
best tracks are live music or reggae music.strings are surround, vocals front, drums 2.0, bass sub
really great if you play a track like bob Marley.

you can feel the music.

am guessing that some people set the surroud just too much, then yeah sound like crap.

the other plus is i can play surround games like bad company 2 on Mo-vie setting and experience very close 5.1 game play.

This is going a bit too far. Not only is more and more music being offered in multi channel formats, but there are a few processors out there that can offer multi channel options from a 2 channel signal that I actually prefer to the original. If you ever get the chance, take a listen to Linn's "Music in the Round." I used to own a Linn 5103 and it was the first time I had ever heard surround sound done so well that I preferred it to the unmolested, original signal. Granted, you're moving into a very expensive arena, but it does exist.
