HAF 932 front USB panel short ? (Help)

Thread Starter
I recently built a system using a HAF 932 (brand new)

I got a AMD Phenom II x6 core and a Asus M4A89 Pro/usb3.
Gave it 4 gigs of ram and my 1 year old ATI 4870 and PSU (all the old stuff I know works, including hard drives)

So I get it all put together and run it, works good for 3 days (on and off) then my screen goes black and my ATI 4870 has 3 red light, so i have to reboot it by holding down the power button, it boots to bios but it can't find my HDD. So after many attempts to use different cables we rule its got a fried PCB. (I still need to get the HDD data recovered)

So i have to use my second HDD for now and sometimes when the USB front panel is touched the grahics card goes 3 red lights and I have to use the reboot button on the case, Luckily it hasnt fried the new HDD yet but im worried and have no idea what could be going on.

TL;DR ?

Basically my front USB panel when touched will cause my graphics card to shut down and get 3 red lights, the PC will stop all audio but will keep running and not reboot. And since I have no money i would not like my HDD to die ... again.

On the old case I have NEVER had a problem like this before. and I think this may be a grounding problem but my outlet shows perfect grounding (tested it)
So I need your help, to sort this out; what could the problem be (with).

Someone said take out the reset button cords and you should be fine. It seems HAF 932 cases have this problem.

But its not actually reseting, its just ... stopping and I then have to restart, so if I have no restart button I'm sort of out of luck you know? And again its the USB panel I actually have something part-covering my reset button.

.... Trust me. Someone said they had this problem last night. Unplug the reset pins from your MoBo and watch it stop happening.

I can confirm that. Problem fixed for me with RESET pin off the mobo.

Been having the same problem since I bought my Haf 932 a few months ago. I disconnected the power switch wires from the case to the motherboard and it DID NOT help one bit. My screen still goes blank from time to time when I attempt to plug anything into either the USB 3.0 port or any of the top panel USB 2.0 ports.

Unplugging the 2-pin Reset plug (the wires are blue and white) also worked for me. CoolerMaster support is worthless btw.
