Uhmm.. Guys? When exactly is the release of sandy bridge? Is it true that its going to be januaty 9th? Because I'm going for an upgrade..

Anyway, local shop here in london has the mobo and some SB cpu's in stock so im rather confused on why they have them in stock this early ... The shop has been very good and cant fault it so im pretty sure its legit.. Anyway, my question is, what will be the best mobo for 2600k? From tbis shop that is.. Im thinking of getting them tomorrow..

To my knowledge Sandy Bridge will be released in two weeks. Not sure of the exact date for the UK but the 9th sounds reasonable. I usually recommend Gigabyte boards because they have alot of power of power for reasonable prices

Jan 9th will be the product Unveiling at CES. An acquaintance familiar with Intel's release dates suggests Early 2nd Quarter for Xeon line. A couple Google searches support his claim. If anyone else has some solid dates feel free to chime in!

EDIT: Referring to Xeon. Pumped for a dual QPI Sandy Bridge...

The shop is most likely legit since Malaysia has had these chips for a few weeks
