on second thought, I'm going to do what shrimp said, but fyi gonna figure this out soon, bc the boost in gaming performance was very noticeable on bfbc2, so I def want my processor overlocked.

Overclocking is not something you do in a couple of minutes while eating your breakfest.
Overclocking consists of a lot of reading, PATIENCE, some MORE PATIENCE, and some logical thinking and basic math skills.
Overclocking can consume quite some time. For instance, I have been busy overclocking my rig for 3 days now.

yea I mean I know that, guess I was hoping for some luck. I'll check the faqs ans troubleshooting before asking any questions about my rig, also gotta read up on what all the stuff means in my bios. I'm back to optimal settings, gonna go see if its stable on optimal settings lol.

OK

1) Like everyone else said - READ - ALOT
2) PLEASE fill out your system specs so we can see what else it is you are using.
3) I highly reccomend that you listen to these guys.

See my rig? Yes I can go higher. But until I read some more and get some more info I won't Its a process. Theres a lot of fine tuning and tweaking to get the perfect OC. I am still working with mine to get the right voltages. I started at stock with 2.8GHz. Now I am higher with a decent clock and voltage. Fine tuning is all it needs for this clock speed.
PLEASE. Do the research. Take the time to make sure you do it right or you will be replacing parts faster than you use toilet paper.
