Yate Loons are low quality at Petras..?

Hey guys,
I'm very bad at explaining stuff. So please try to keep up, and apologies if what I'm trying to explain is not that clear.

I own 12 High Speed yate loons. I bought four at a time.

1st batch, Man. Date: 1002, bought from Petra
2nd batch, Man. Date: 1002, bought from Jab-tec
3rd batch, Man. Date: 1008, bought from Petra half a month ago.

Now the fans are both supposed to run at 2000RPM within 5% deviation rate right? But that's not the case here..

Now the problem is, I mixed the first two batches, and cant tell which one is Petra's and which is JT (I can seperate the 4 from the other 4 though)

From Tator Tot's thread, http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling...-round-up.html , Jab Tech ones have shorter cables, and indeed, compared to my 3rd batch, there is a batch that matches the 3rd in length, and a batch that has shorter cables. The one with shorter cables has the Yate loon sticker on back and front, unlike the other two batches. So I'm assuming this one is JT

Now, for the RPM testing using my Lamptron FC-5 V2 controller

1st batch (If above assumption is correct): 1950-2050 RPM
2nd batch (If above assumption is correct): 2020-2100 RPM
3rd batch (a DEFINITE Petra): 1950 RPM

That shocked me to be honest. So I decided to open them up (and somewhat ruined the sticker in the process )

This picture shows the 1st batch (left) and 2nd batch (Right), and I cant see any difference between them to be honest in terms of coil size or what not.

This picture shows the 3rd batch (color matches the assumed first batch which somewhat further supports my assumption?), and again, I dont see a difference between this batch and the other two to be honest..

ehume mentioned such remark in the past. But that was quickly dismissed by Tator Tot. Maybe there was something there afterall?

Anyways.. So, what do you guys think?

Edit:
Not sure why the pics are not viewable. anyways here is the link to the first picture followed by a link to the second one

There is a +/- 10% RPM error rate. These seem well within that range.

OH!
I was going by Tator Tot's word. I never really thought of double checking that. +rep for that

Still weird that they all run at the same RPM error rate.. The WHOLE 8!

Coil size? I dont notice any being bigger than the other.. Can you see a difference?

There's a thread that has specs of YL fans and others from different retailers on here somewhere. The Petra fans where found to be legit YL fans and among the highest quality YL fans out there.

They're all legit, just different batches.

Just an FYi, Petra's is run by Sidewinder now so it is possible their YL sourcing probably changed as well. Petra'a was one of the few shops who bought direct from Taiwan...not sure where they come from now

In the pic with two fans, the one on the right seems to have more wire in its coils.

Both have capacitors, which makes both higher quality YL fans.

My YL's all vary. I think that's about manufacturer variation. These are, after all, very inexpensive fans.

Thanks for the input ehume. But I thought JT did not sell high quality YL..
