*Smasher note*
I was originally going to enter this into the 2011 Case Mod Competition, but decided instead not to rush myself, thoroughly plan this mod out and execute it over time and have fun with it. Fun and computers have not been synonymous to me for quite some time now, so this is my "breaking out" mod to get me back in the spirit.

Table of Contents:
1) You are here.
2) Case dismantles and prepped.
3) Arrival
4) Design and component placement part 1

The following pics show the case as it started. This has been in the planning stage for several months now. This is a mighty Lian Li PC-V2000 silver. It will be extensively modded and use hard-plumbed watercooling featuring a 480mm internal radiator.

At this stage, the case has been anodized / powdercoated and a small window over the motherboard has been cut, as has a window for the 480mm radiator. This was done prior to shipping the case to me by one of my best buds, nafljhy

This is one of my favorite shots of the powder

Believe it or not, it's red. Very deep and dark red. Words cannot describe how beautiful it is in person. I have decided to use copper pipe for the watercooling, as copper has excellent heat dissipation and is fairly straightforward to work with.

ohai! Thanks for stopping in. (and for the immense amount of help getting this thing off the ground. I can't describe how grateful I am.)

Here is where I am posting my Google Sketchup drawings and renders of the project. There will be much more of this to come as I become more proficient in Sketchup. I still have much to learn. Note: The XSPC bay res may or may not be used. I am using it as a placeholder for the 4 HDD hotswap caddy that's in the case. There just isn't a model for it so I'm using the res. I may still get one and use it since there's plenty of room, just have not decided if one is for me or not.

The part below the rear exhaust fan will be a vent / blowhole for the PSU fan since it has to be mounted in such a way that the fan will be up against the center divider.

Here are some initial renders. As i become better and better with Sketchup and Indigo, I'm certain these will become much more polished and photoealistic.
