The Official GIGABYTE P67/Z68 Owners Club/Discussion/Info ALL WELCOME! - Page 11

Do I need a cpu-z validation to be in the club?

Here you go!

Oh, and you need to update the OP buddy, it only lists UD7 stuff still.

For those having issues with newer F6/F7 bios versions -- I used the F7e bios and was able to get everything up and running smoothly, PLL overvoltage and all. I also managed to squeak another 100MHz out of my 2600K in the process while only raising .01 in Vcore. Previously on the F3 bios, I was literally stuck at a hard wall at 4.4GHz

I have been testing the F7f bios and I think I like the F7e bios more. But I have requested a change log from gigabyte, hopefully they hook it up. Have you read the about the Intel SB SATA problem, that probably means new revision and a brand new board for free

So now that this is the Gigabyte P67A owners club, can we get links to the bios files for all the boards on the first page???

Tweaked? As in Level 1 won't over-do the voltage?

I'm anxious to see what the recall includes. Anantech made a good point about hoping board manufacturers allow a trade-in/trade-up to Z-68 chipset boards since we're already having our P67 boards replaced anyway.

there will be a recall for all board, sales have stopped as have review samples as well. Seems like the fix wont be ready until February/march at earliest, so looks like no one can buy a SB board if they haven't already. SATA6G not affected. I will update it soon.

I was about to hurt some kittens at this news. I just finished water cooling my UD7 to perfection. Fortunately it's only Sata 2.0 ports.. I wont bother recalling unless other problems arise.
