Since I had to beast torn apart I decided to do a bit of cable management... would I could do anyways without a psu haha (picking it up tomorrow)....

... I bit the bullet, just said F it, going with a Corsair AX 1200... may as well go big or go home haha.

A few pics as well... I have about 1/8th of an inch space between the end of the 6950 and my hdd cage lol, more than enough.

I attached that pic for you liighthead

I believe the s*it just hit the fan.

New psu is in, the computer doesn't just loop a bunch of restarts after booting. It just up and just runs, doesn't display video and fans dont spin down.

I assume that either when the paused it took the mobo or CPU with it.

I tried clearing te bios, CMOS everything is plugged in properly.

Any ideas ? I wanted to upgrade to i7 but not this soon haha I just spend $900 on the video cards and pay lol. And another $250 on hdds.

So this sucks

What was the old PSU? It might've taken your board with it. You better hope it didn't take the cards too.

tomorrow I will be picking up an asus P7P55D-E PRO and that will be that. for the time being anyways, build / mod will be on hold for about a month due to me being broke now haha...

It's all part of the game.

Going to pickup the mono tomorrow and after it's installed everything should be humming along nicely

Wow, I really like the turned HDD cage. I took mine out completely and put a 240 Rad and a 250mm T-Virus Res there. Switched to the T600 after my Antec 300 took a beating from my nephews. I plan on modding the case to my liking now that it doesnt have anything in it.

You going to add some cable management holes in it?? You should because of all the wires you are going to need.

And add the fans to the Side Panel, for an air intake. I doubt fans will fit into the front doors anymore if you mounted the cage touching the door. The fans are thicker than the doors.

I find that have so many HDDs that you need to add another(part) of a case for them, crazy. But hey, its OCN. And nice selection on your new MOBO, I am very happy with mine
