F3 Raid vs. SSD

So earlier I was pretty sure I was going to get an SSD with this weeks check. However... When I went to look into some new storage drives I looked at the f3's. According to quite a few reviews on newegg's site, putting 2 of these f3's in raid 0 puts them at 250+ mb/s read speeds. If this is true, what advantages does getting an SSD over 2 F3's have? I mean... 2tb storage @ ssd speeds vs 60gb ssd. Is it the random read/writes? Are they bad on raid f3's?

...sequential.

Those HDD can do only 1MB/s random. SSDs can do 50-80MB/s.

Over 90% of OS read/writes are random.
Once again...

I have shortstroked F3s in RAID. Sure, they're fast, but they don't even come close to the snappy feel of an SSD (which I've also used) due to the reasons Duckie posted.

that answered it for me. SSD it is. Thanks. I knew ssd's were faster random but damn..... 50-80x faster is a hell of a lot more than I thought. Shows how cought up to hdd tech I am lol.
