You have to be a megafan of WoW to buy an ssd for just that. Though with 64gb, you'd have enough room to install your OS + WoW at the same time if you wanted. That way you'd get twice the use out of it. For your mobo, which if the one on newegg im looking at is the one you have, that is the best ssd. Just make sure you use it on your 6gb/s sata ports and not the 3gb/s ones.

Really? everyone always makes such a big deal about how WoW load times would be cut down by putting it on a ssd.

For sure i want to put OS on the ssd also just wanted to make sure that 64gigs would be enough for the OS + WoW.

It barely makes a difference man, spend it on something else. IMO WoW is mostly CPU dependent. When I OC'ed my CPU to 4ghz I got 10fps+ in Orgrimmar.. but that was probably because I was being bottlenecked by my CPU... ^_^

I cant even really notice the difference. So much of it is how fast the server can actually send data to your system.

This may be a little late but, I bought that exact ssd and was able to fit win7 pro 64-bit and a fresh WoW install on there with ~20Gb to spare. I do notice a difference in load times personally. I went from waiting at loading screens to ~1 sec at a screen. Switching between characters is now as fast as I can click the mouse. I was running 3 7200.10 barracudas in a raid 0 prior to the ssd and it was a night and day difference.
